GM is Set to Deliver 20 New Electric Vehicles By 2023

GM future electric vehicle

As we all know, electric vehicles, or EVs, are becoming much more popular. Unlike 10, or even just 5 years ago, it’s much easier for consumers to find a variety of electric options that suit a range of budgets. Plus, manufacturers like Tesla aren’t the only names in the EV world anymore, with more mainstream brands like Hyundai, Nissan, and Audi leading the charge with new, more budget-friendly EV picks for the modern consumer. In recent news, auto giant GM has recently announced plans to introduce a new suite of 20 electric vehicles into the American market by the year 2023.

In their latest sustainability report, GM reported that almost all of their respective brands, (Cadillac, GMC, Chevrolet, and Buick) would introduce new electric vehicle offerings in the next few years. To keep their audience on their toes, GM decided to tease 12 of the 20 models customers can expect to see in dealerships.

While we still don’t know too much about GM’s new EV suite, we do know that most of their designs will integrate the brand’s new modular EV architecture called Ultium. Thanks to this, some of the vehicles will boast an impressive range of 400 miles. Additionally, some of the new picks will feature 3-second 0-60 acceleration and front wheel, rear-wheel, and all-wheel drive configurations for buyers to choose from.

Let’s take a look at what we know so far:
