The Cayenne Coupe’s cabin provides great insulation, but the V8’s rumble pleasantly bleeds through. With the EV situated at wide-open throttle, the official sound stat was 83 decibels. Switching into Sport or Sport Plus mode is a great way to ensure that the gas engine is working full-time.

These modes will employ the gas engine to crank out the juice for the 21.8-kWh battery.
