The Lucid Gravity SUV is Going Into Production
Electric vehicles are fast becoming the preferred method of transport for a lot of automotive consumers throughout the world. This area is expanding rapidly with the technology becoming more reliable, cheaper, and advanced compared to traditional combustion engine cars. When you think of electric vehicles, there are many brands that come to mind, including Tesla and BMW. But there is a new player on the scene that is quickly becoming people’s first choice, and that is Lucid. It has impressed customers with its excellent driving range, extensive power from its engine, interior technology, and all-around luxurious feel. It has been over three years since the Lucid Air sedan started production, but finally, the wait is now over for a Lucid SUV. The Lucid Gravity SUV has now officially entered production and it is no longer a brand to offer just cars.
Introducing the Lucid Gravity SUV
They expect the Gravity to appeal to a wider range of customers compared to their Air model. But like all new companies, they are cautious about the amount of cars they put into production. They are planning to ramp up production slowly over 2025, and it will be 2026 before they start to hit high numbers of vehicles being produced.

What Features Does the New Lucid Gravity Offer?
The exterior design is futuristic but rugged, which will appeal to many customers. Its exterior paint comes in a standard black color, and if you would like to change that to another color, that comes with an additional charge of $1,000. It sits on 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the back. There are upgrades for these, too, and they could cost up to $3,500 extra, depending on the size. Surprisingly, you can also add a towing package, priced at $750, allowing the SUV to pull and tow up to 6,000 pounds. This will be an added bonus to a lot of customers as pickup trucks are always one of the best-selling vehicles every year due to their towing abilities.

In the interior, as standard, the Gravity comes as a five-seater, but a third row of seats can be added, giving another two seats. But this comes at a cost of $2,900. It has a Mojave Purluxe faux leather interior, continuing the luxurious feel inside. Again, this upholstery can be upgraded to Purluxe Premium or real leather. Yet, it will set you back between $2,900 and $4,200. The vehicle has many technological features, and customers can choose which package suits their needs and lifestyle. Features include an upgraded sound system and driver assistance.
Under its bonnet contains an eye-watering 828 horsepower ready to be used. Lucid states that it has an excellent driving range of up to 440 miles, but since it has not been EPA-certified just yet, we cannot confirm that. But if that driving range is accurate, it will be a feature that will delight many potential customers.

Pricing and Future Models
With all these different upgrades, it would not take long to put the Lucid Gravity’s purchase price into the six-figure range. For people will a smaller budget, Lucid will be selling a lower-trim model in the future. The Lucid Gravity Touring will have a base price of $79,900. However, it will be late 2025 or early 2026 before it hits car lots all over the country. This will be the first in a new line of more affordable models, which will help the company achieve more popularity in the mainstream automotive industry rather than just the luxury section.
I can see the company is making strides in the right direction. I believe in their strategic plan and am in for the long haul.
We should develop a competitively priced electric vehicle to enhance shareholder value.
