Our Favorite Tire Shine Products

We’re “clean car junkies” over here at Headlights. When a car is dirty, we like to see it get cleaned. There’s something to be said about the feeling you get after putting your car through some serious cleaning and detailing. It’s the same kind of feeling you get when your house is super clean and you get to climb straight into some clean sheets. Who doesn’t love a clean car?

Besides soaping off the body of your car, we stand here to argue that using tire shine on your tires is imperative to end a car wash. Putting that tire shine around the lip of your car’s tires is like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae. It’s the best way to finish off a round of car washing

And, boy, do we have some solid product recommendations for you!

Adam’s Tire Shine, $16.99

Found here, our favorite on the list happens to be a lesser-known brand called “Adam’s Tire Shine.” The product was once recommended by a close friend of ours, and now, we can’t go back. This formula is everything you need in a tire shine. It’s long-lasting and super glossy. Upon application, you may be fooled. It takes a few minutes to take full effect. But, don’t fret. Be patient and wait for it to do its thing. You won’t regret it! It’s also a reminder to try brands that you may have never heard about. Your tires will look brand new and cleaner than clean! We highly recommend this product.Chemical Guys “The Kicker Tire Shine”, $8.97

Chemical Guys “The Kicker Tire Shine”, $8.97

Found here, our next product comes with some major fan love. The Chemical Guys certainly knew what they were doing when they concocted this formula, because it works great. We love it for the price and quality. Adam’s tire shine is definitely on the more expensive side, so finding a product for a fraction of the price that produces good results is a win in our book.

Armor All “Extreme Tire Shine”, $9.30

This next product is a cult favorite (the “cult” being the car-detailing community.) Armor All’s “Extreme Tire Shine” is an awesome contender and we are happy to put it on our list. True to its name, it does produce “extreme” shine and gloss when applied to tires. This product has the most “wet” looking result, which is a big reason as to why it’s done so well. The only downside to this one is you need to leave some time for it to dry or it may track and splatter on your car a bit. Although, truth be told, that’s a risk when using any tire shine and not letting it dry in time of your next drive.

Meguiar’s “Hot Shine Foam”, $5.24

Coming in last (but not really last)on our list of tire shine products, Meguiar’s aerosol can tire shine happens to be the cheapest option. Is it childish if we think it’s kinda fun to be using a spray can to leave our tires looking sparkly clean? This product’s shine is solid and long-lasting. We wish it would last longer, but that seems to be an issue with aerosol cans – they go quickly. Beyond that, we love the shine this gives to our tires and use it often.
