Top James Bond Vehicles and the Latest Edition

Second only to the innovative technology and the fascinating man himself, the vehicles featured in James Bond movies have been sleek, capable, and sexy. Some models stood out and stood the test of time just like Bond. Here is a look at the top models from the films and the latest vehicle to be featured in No Time to Die.

Aston Martin DB5

This model is undoubtedly the most famous of the Bondmobiles, appearing in no less than six films. The first appearance was in Goldfinger in 1964, arguably one of the most popular of the movies. However, the captivation with this model has never waned as it also appears in No Time to Die, showing the iconic status of the coupe.

Mercury Cougar XR-7

Bold red styling contrasted by a black top ensured this Mercury coupe stood out on camera in the film, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service in 1969. What made it even more exciting was the person behind the wheel. This model wasn’t a Bond vehicle, but rather owned by Tracy Di Vicenzo, who would be his future wife. Tracy sure knew how to drive it in an icy chase scene that captivated audiences.

Ford Mustang Mach 1

Showcased in Diamonds are Forever in 1971, it was quite an honor for Ford to be chosen as the American muscle car to carry Sean Connery as James Bond. Bond brought out the best in the vehicle with a chase scene with the Las Vegas police. The bold red styling and pony logo highlighted the profile of a fast and furious muscle car.

Lotus Espirit

This model made it in two Bond films, first with the S1 in The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977. This car made quite a “splash” as Bond drives it into the sea as it turns into an underwater vehicle. In For Your Eyes Only in 1981, the Espirit Turbo mesmerized audiences, bringing popularity to the copper fire metallic shade.

Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II

You might not think of an elegant Rolls Royce model as a part of the action, but it made quite an appearance in A View to Kill in 1985. The vehicle ended up in a lake with Bond using the air from a tire to breathe underwater. It gave a new view of the car reserved for royal owners.

BMW Z8

The ride of Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, this BMW model made its appearance in The World is Not Enough in 1999. The Z8 put on quite the show as it could drive itself many years before Tesla came onto the scene. A hidden missile launcher was a feature that you couldn’t miss, making this convertible equally debonair and devilish.

Aston Martin V12 Vanquish

The creativity of the writers continued to showcase the innovative qualities of the vehicles along with other gadgets in the James Bond enterprise. In Die Another Day, which was released in 2002, this elegant car hides a rocket launcher. Something every car owner could use in their vehicles, right? The V12 Vanquish took chase scenes to a whole new level to mesmerize the audience.

Aston Martin DB10

This model was built specifically for the film, Spectre, which was released in 2015. It is the epitome of the Aston Martin – James Bond team. Powering the car was a 4.7L V8 engine with a leap distance of 306 kph.

No Time to Die Vehicle Lineup

Of course, the Aston Martin DB10 makes its return in the latest film as the Bond’s ride. However, the Land Rover is quite impressive in its chase scenes and all stunt work is done with the actual models. What makes this model even more appealing is that Land Rover has developed Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition models for sale to the public. It’s an exciting chance to get your hands on a Bond vehicle that can do what it shows on film.
