Why it Might Be Time to Buy a Brand New Vehicle

If you’re in the market to purchase a vehicle, you’re approaching a big financial decision. Buying a car, whether it’s new or used, is a big choice to make. So much of your hard-earned money will go towards the operation and upkeep of this big ticket item. There are many different opinions on whether purchasing new or used is the way to go, but, after much careful consideration, we are here to help you justify why purchasing a brand new vehicle just might be the right decision for you.

A financially responsible decision

For many people, the option of purchasing a brand new vehicle used to be out of the question. But, in recent times, and since the onset of COVID-19, the prices of used cars have skyrocketed, calling for a healthy competition between new and used cars. For maybe the first time in history, the price of a brand new vehicle is not much more than a used vehicle. Many people have to wait extremely long periods of time to purchase a new car because of materials shortages worldwide, which has caused an increase in the overall pricing of the used car market.

According to cars.com, “before any COVID-19-related disruptions, the median price for a used vehicle among Cars.com dealers in July 2019 was approximately $17,500. By July 2022, that median price jumped 37%.” Although each car brand and model differ from one to the next depending on popularity and stock, it’s a better time than ever to consider the purchase of a new vehicle.

No prior owners or previous accidents

Getting into a new car with that “new car” smell – there’s just nothing like it. One of the most exciting reasons to purchase a brand new vehicle is that you’re going to be the first and only owner for as long as you own the car. No previous owner means nothing to worry about! No wondering if there was a dirty animal in the back seat, mud tracked through the floor pads, or food spilled all over the carpet. It comes fresh and clean and with no worry.

A little dent never hurt anyone… right?

Another one of the most important factors to take into consideration when looking to purchase a car is how many accidents it’s gone through. Well, guess what? When you’re purchasing a brand new vehicle, there’s no wondering what went on in that car’s previous lifetime. There’s no past mechanics history you need to inspect, and no questions that need to be answered about previous accidents that pop up in the Carfax. The parts are all brand new, leaving you as risk-free as you’re going to get.

Wear and tear… or not.

Not here! Not in a brand new vehicle! No wear and tear to worry about. You’re the first owner, so you can hop right in and take off knowing that everything is in pristine condition. Those leather seats are brand new, the air conditioning is brand new, and those tires are brand new. You’ve got a bunch of time left before you have to worry about something going wrong.
