The Most Anticipated Cars for The Fall of 2021

The car industry was stifled in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, which forced manufacturers to alter their budget and operation. However, as we return to normal, manufacturers are beginning to implement some of the innovations that are available to them. This review highlights the eight most anticipated cars for the fall of 2021. We highlighted all types of vehicles, from traditional crossovers to innovative electric trucks. 

2021 Volkswagen ID.4 – Electric SUV

2021 is perhaps the first year in which the antiicpation for electric vehicles is almost as great as the anticipation for gas-powered cars. This is largely because there is so much still unknown about how the new electric vehicles will perform. Among the most anticipated electric cars for the Fall of 2021 is the 20211 Volkswagen ID.4. Volkswagen is certainly one of the front runners in the EV race, and the ID.4 is perhaps their most intriguing model. This eye-catching compact SUV features 201 horsepower and a battery range that exceed 250 miles. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 is the price, and it starts as low as $32,495, making it more affordable than many competitor models. 

Rivian R1T – Electric Truck

The Rivian R1T is one of the first electric pickup trucks that will be available to consumers, rivaling the likes of the Tesla Cybertruck and the GMC Hummer EV SUT. However, the Rivian R1T has a more traditional style than the Cybertruck or the GMC Hummer EV SUT, which feature bold and flashy looks. The Rivian R1T will be similar in size to other midsize pickups such as the Ford Ranger and Ram 1500. The cost for the RIvian R1T, which should be available this Summer, is $67,500. The pickup truck features an astounding 754 horsepower engine and a o to 60 time of 3.0 seconds.

Lucid Air – Electric Luxury Car

The Lucid Air is certainly one of the more anticipated electric cars in the EV industry. This is because Lucid has done an excellent job of marketing the Air and getting consumers excited. Among the numerous bold claims made about the Lucid Air, it is self-proclaimed itself the “Tesla killer,” and it is branded as a luxury version of Tesla, whereas Tesla aims to offer more affordable models. 

On paper, the Lucid Air could certainly rival Tesla’s capabilities, and the Lucid Air is supposed to provide more than 500 miles of battery range, numerous technology features, and a powerful battery-powered engine with fast acceleration and insane top speeds. However, little is known about whether or not the Lucid Air can live up to the hype, and many skeptics cast doubt as to whether Lucid can safely mass-produce such an extraordinary electric vehicle. 

2022 Chevrolet Corvette Zo6 – Supercar

Some of the most anticipated cars every year are the most impressive supercar. The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Zo6 is intriguing as it is a more affordable supercar. While many expected the price of the 2022 Corvette Zo6 to exceed $150,000 given its supercar design and impressive performance, it actually prices in around $85,000. This is, of course, still out of the price range for most drivers, but when comparing supercars, it is certainly among the most affordable options. The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Zo6 produces 600 horsepower and features a 5.5-liter V8 motor. 

2021 Ford Bronco – Compact SUV

The Ford Bronco has garnered intrigue among car enthusiasts ever since its announcement in June of last year. Many anticipate the 2021 Ford Bronco to be one of the best off-road compact SUVs on the market in the fall of 2021. It features an advanced four-wheel-drive system that allows more bold drivers to expand their off-road capabilities. It also offers an electromechanical transfer that gives the driver the option of switching between 2H and 4H. The starting price of the 2021 Ford Bronco is $29,995. While not the most affordable compact SUV, the Bronco offers one of the best overall values on the market. 

2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo – Crossover SUV

The 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo features exceptional performance for a crossover SUV. Mazda has improved its reputation over the past few years. For example,  by transforming the look and performance of many of its most popular models. The 2021 CX-30 features an all-wheel-drive and 320 lb-ft of torque. This goes along with its elegant and new design impressive interior comfort and infotainment system. The price starts right around $30,000, making it a true competitor to the aforementioned Ford Bronco. 

2021 Chrysler Pacifica AWD – Minivan

It is rare for a minivan to generate a lot of enthusiasm among enthusiasts, but the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica AWD is not your average minivan. For car enthusiasts that love performance but also have a bigger family to haul around regularly, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica AWD makes for a great compromise. This van is particularly useful in harsher weather climates where cold weather exists. The thing that sets the 2021 Pacifica apart from its competitors is the option of all-wheel drive. While the 2021 Pacifica AWD is not going to win you any drag races, the ability to deliver power from the rear wheels can make for a safer ride and reduce the risk of an accident on an icy or snow-filled day.

2021 Ram Dakota – Mid-Size Truck

The 2021 Ram Dakota is a mid-size pickup truck. If the name “Dakota” sounds familiar, it is because the new 2021 Ram Dakota is the resurrection of the former Dodge Dakota, which was discontinued a decade ago. Needless to say, this has truck enthusiasts excited to see what the revamped Dakota has to offer. The 2021 Ram Dakota is most likely to rival the likes of the Jeep Gladiator, Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, and GMC Canyon. The base model starts at around $26,000. This could be an excellent and exciting alternative to the larger and more expensive Ram 1500.
