Well-Rounded, Torque-Rich, & Tough: A Sneak Peak at The 2024 Ford F-150

There is certainly a raging “war of the truckstaking place in today’s auto market! Manufacturers have seen an increase in demand to leave no stone unturned when it comes to features. The Autoblog team shared their opinion regarding which truck they thought was king of the hill. Their pick was the 2024 Ford F-150, which offers up many variants that all excel greatly.

The Ram 1500 may have the lead on segment-leading interior comfort. The GMC Sierra has also scored high marks from critics for the inside goodies. A sneak peek at the 2024 Ford F-150 reveals a total package that wins big! The assortment of models ranges from long beds to off-road conquerors. The well-rounded package that the F-150 offers is a truck connoisseur’s dream.

A Sneak Peek at the 2024 Ford F-150

The many great tech features and engine options render the Ford F-150 quite superior. The Power Boost Hybrid and Pro Power Onboard features are enough to lure very choosy buyers. The Smart Hitch feature snagged up Autoblog’s “Technology of the Year” title. The 2024 model’s Pro Access Tailgate goes head-to-head with GM and Ram.

Blue Cruise hands-free driver assistance is one of the savvy new features on the 2024 model. It now features new programming that spaces you out from other vehicles on the interstate. The Platinum Plus trim now replaces the Limited as the highest trim level. Ford’s new bed features cutouts in the wheel humps fit for replacement separators.

The standard 3.3-liter V6 was dropped from the F-150’s powertrain lineup this year. The 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 is the new standard engine. The hybrid Power boost engine is now available for the same price as the gas-only model. The 5.0-liter V8 presides as judge and juror over this very diverse and capable lineup. The 12-inch touchscreen is now standard on all trim levels.

The Brain Behind the Brawn: The Ford F-150’s Electric Architecture

The 12-inch touchscreen still runs on Sync 4 software. There’s also a brand-new head-up display as an extra option. All of the F-150’s new architecture allows for new anti-theft and recovery features. There’s even a 5G-powered hotspot that can connect up to ten devices at once!

This will be an excellent upgrade to make things such as over-the-air-updates easier. Blue Cruise 1.2 will be available on each trim level, but there’s an activation fee. You can check it out for 90 days, and if you like it, pay a monthly subscription fee for the duration. This technology is incredibly cool: you can change lanes with just a tap of the turn signal.

The Raptor and Tremor’s Adventure-Prone Antics:

The 2024 Ford Tremor is getting a complete redesign to its front clip. There’s also a brand-new grille with more orange accents and a new modular front bumper. To prevent any “getting majorly stuck” stories, a Ford Performance Winch Kit is also available. As you slay the challenges of the wild, you’ll also be enjoying more orange accents inside as well.

The Raptor R will still preside as resident trail warrior with its 5.2-liter supercharged V8. During an F-150 reveal event, presenters offered up more details. The Raptor R will come charging out of the gates as the “most powerful off-road truck ever.” This will dethrone the Ram TRX, which currently holds this title while boasting 702 horsepower.

Shocks and Awe: A Look at Other Extreme Raptor Upgrades

Ford is also adding Dual Live Valve Shocks to the Raptor for 2024. 37-inch tires also lead the package which further equips the Raptor with Recaro seats and the new modular front bumper. There’s also the V6 Raptor option with 35-inch tires. This “always meaning business” and ferocious number is also available with the new Shelter Green exterior hue.

An assortment of sweet freestanding items are also available. A mood-enhancing moonroof, axle upgrades, two mirrors, and the Max recline seats can further mix things up. The Motor Trend crew enthusiastically claimed that the entire current Ram line was “an example of not messing with a formula that works.” Most likely, there’s an F-150 with the versatile features that will meet your needs.

What a Terrific Time to Tailgate!

Tailgating for sporting events is one of our favorite parts of the fall season! Ford has also now introduced a Pro Access Tailgate that is the first 100-degree fully opened model in its segment. We’re pretty sure that it will also be available on the Raptor, which has the SuperCrew body style and a 5.5-foot truck bed. Being a truly dedicated off-road protege, the Raptor also boasts 12 inches of ground clearance.

The 0-60 drive time is just five seconds, which is a great increment to enjoy the very supercharged V8 soundtrack. Thrilled with its stance as a dune basher, the Raptor’s five-link suspension helps conquer challenging angles. The terrain management system boasts seven different selectable modes. Standard trail control is an excellent means of crawling through jagged and daunting areas.

Setting the Standard for Innovation in a Cutthroat Segment:

When someone is ready to buy a truck, the current options are all pretty killer! The Toyota Tundra, Chevy Silverado, Ram 1500, and GMC Sierra offer very stiff competition. The 2024 Ford F-150 will get passed up by some for the Ram, and that’s understandable. The Ram has snagged up numerous accolades for an interior that boasts first-class status.

What do you think of the 2024 Ford F-150? Autoblog definitely made a great case for its grit and very capable demeanor. Let us know what you think in the comments below, or check out another article about the F-150 Lightning.
