What are the New Features of the Lincoln Navigator?

SUVs are having a moment, and their popularity soars higher and higher every year. They are practical, spacious, and easy on the eye, making them perfect for every consumer. This popularity is well-known by many car manufacturers; from that, there is an abundance of choice for customers.

While consumers have a wide choice, there are some vehicles that have a higher spec than others. One of the best-selling luxury SUVs is the Lincoln Navigator. It is a family favorite with a modern design, making it super popular. While we are waiting for a major overhaul, Ford has delighted customers by releasing a 2025 version with several new upgrades. Here, we dissect what upgrades are in the 2025 Lincoln Navigator and whether it is worth splurging on the new model.

Revised Exterior Design

The outside design has received a significant facelift. In the 2025 model, there are many new features, including a new front grille and integrated lightbar. On the top is a tapered roofline with rails that are spread the length of the roof. At the back, the original taillamps are replaced with full-width lights, mirroring the light bar at the front, giving the design balance. To add a futuristic vibe to the SUV, the badges, lights, and grille complete a welcome sequence each time the Navigator is unlocked. A feature that is a fan favorite on other luxury vehicles. Underneath, the Navigator sits on 22-inch wheels. There is also an upgrade to 24-inch if that is something that interests you.

Cargo Features

While the new exterior design makes the car look more luxurious, it is the useful and practical features that will sell this car to families and busy professionals. One of the most valuable features of the 2025 Navigator is the new and improved split gate in the cargo area. So now, instead of lifting the whole rear gate to access the cargo area behind the last row of seats, you will be able to split it and open it like the station wagons of our childhood. Once opened, the lower section can be pushed out to extend the cargo space, giving a stable surface to load heavier or longer items if needed.

Improve Infotainment System

Now, the passengers sitting in the front driver and passenger seats can benefit from a wealth of technology. Namely, a panoramic display screen that extends the full length of the dashboard and is 48 inches in size. There are plenty of widgets to choose from and an array of different modes to sample. One example is “Pano Mode”. This option allows passengers to access a range of media when the vehicle is in “park.” Another cool feature is the “digital scent.” Load a scent cartridge into the armrest, and your car fills with the fragrance. Your vehicle also matches it with corresponding sounds and visuals.

Second-Row Luxury

While there are many luxury SUVs on the market, the second-row passenger’s seats are always a little left behind as the front has all the high-tech features, and the back is filled with functional storage space. However, Ford has not forgotten about that middle space. Now, the second-row passengers can enjoy adjustable, heated, massaging seats with extra ventilation. It has several features, such as “power pitch and slide.” This allows the seats to be moved easily with the push of a button, giving better access to the third row.

So, I bet you’re thinking, what about the third-row passengers? Well, they have not been forgotten about, either. There is an additional legroom, USB ports to charge your devices, and even heated seats. While they have drawn the short straw in terms of features, it is definitely an upgrade from where they were.

Overview of the all-new Lincoln Navigator

Overall, the 2025 Lincoln Navigator is an exciting vehicle with thoughtful, top-of-the-range features that give the SUV an excellent balance between practical and opulent. It is sure to be as popular as previous years.
