Step Inside the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe: Redesigned and Roomy

When Hyundai introduced the first-generation Santa Fe back in 2001, it became an instant hit with American consumers. At the time, sedans largely dominated the market, and Hyundai was looking for ways to cement its legacy on American soil.

The five-door, crossover SUV quickly amassed popularity for its blend of versatility, comfort, and affordability. But it also paved the way for Hyundai to become a leader in the SUV segment.

The automaker has gone on to engineer other noteworthy SUVs, including the Tucson, Palisade, and the all-electric Ioniq 5, which recently won the Straits Times Car of the Year and Sgcarmart Car of the Year and Electric SUV of the Year awards.

It’s clear that the brand’s dedication to innovation is unwavering, and now with the upcoming release of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe in March, this model is proving to be the most stylish, and impressive yet.

Let’s take a look at the redesigned upgrade below!

Meet the all-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe, designed to wow

Dubbed the “adventurous compact SUV”, the 2024 generation has a lot to live up to in terms of performance, but its newly executed rugged exterior definitely fits the bill.

With a blocky, modern stature that mimics the latest trend in SUV design, consumers will be quick to notice that this 2024 model is a clear departure from its predecessors, as highlighted by Car and Driver.

Right off the bat, you’ll notice the redesign brings an elongated body shape, with an added 1.8 inches. This not only contributes to a more spacious cabin, but it gives the technically mid-size SUV a larger presence on the road.

Key features of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe:

The newly imagined Santa Fe comes equipped with six trim options, including SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Hybrid. The starting price for the SE is $33,950 with the high-end trim, Calligraphy, retailing for $46,500.

The Hybrid option has a MSRP of $36,950, making it the perfect alternative for those who love the look of the 2024 model but prefer a more eco-friendly driving experience.

The standard trims boasts a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. Paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, it offers front-wheel or all-wheel drive options.

Alternatively, the Hybrid model, arriving later in spring, combines a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four with an AC motor for a total output of 232 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque.

Altogether, the Santa Fe isn’t really worth of the title off-road vehicle, but it does provide adequate handling and plenty of ground clearance for those who like venture a bit.

Third row of seating

New to 2024, Hyundai answered the call of millions of drivers who were looking for a bit more space in their family SUVs. The addition of a third row of seating expands its capacity, accommodating larger families or providing extra room for passengers and cargo.

The available second-row captain’s chairs are comparable to the front passenger seats, offering generous legroom and comfort.

Modernized interior

Inside, the cabin has undergone significant upgrades, boasting enhanced materials and a sleeker center console. The steering wheel is reminiscent of those found in Land Rovers. It gives the Santa Fe a more high-end look compared to past generations.
